Company History
Lowther Builders was established in Melbourne in 1986 and is owned and managed by two Directors.
Jeff Lowther – Managing Director:
Jeff Lowther is a Qualified Carpenter with thirty years experience in all aspects of Construction. Jeff completed his Apprenticeship in 1976 and operated as a Sole Trader, combining his five, full-time Carpenters with his network of Subcontractors to complete Architectural Designed Projects in conjunction with several Spec. Homes and Units.
Jeff’s reputation for quality, integrity and craftsmanship, combined with his Project Management experience and vast knowledge, led to the registration of Lowther Builders as a Business Entity in 1986.
Michael Gordon – Managing Director:
Michael Gordon joined Lowther Builders in 2002.
After working as a Police Officer in the Victoria Police from 1979 to 1984, Michael relocated to south-east Queensland to further his Career in the family run and owned property development company established by his father.
In 1992, Michael formed his own development company through which he continued his development work, before joining Lowther Builders in 2002.
Jeff and Michael have built on their solid individual reputations to expand Lowther Builders to a company that now employs nine full-time Staff and has a dedicated team of loyal Subcontractors.
